Round Britain & Ireland Race

- Botin

it was some of the best offshore sailing I’ve done – really excellent, We were going very fast but the guys were matching our speed.”

SEVENSTARS Round Britain & Ireland

Stuff of Legend.

Every 4 years the RBI sets sail from Cowes. This is the biggest offshore race in the UK. In fact all round the UK. A total of 1800 Nm & approximately 10-15 days at sea (subject to conditions)

We wont try to soften this one up, ITS TOUGH but you probably already know that.

We will only take people with previous offshore experience, preferably you have a Fastnet Race in your CV, if not then loads of RORC racing or at least 900Nm with plenty of overnight passages.

Once upon a time you could gain respect by saying you had done the Fastnet Race, not these days, not amongst real yachtsman. Stick this one in your CV and people will hold you as a Demi God. You will become stuff of legend.

Eligibility to participate is similar to the Rolex Fastnet.

3 Qualifying & Sea Survival courses taken.

We cant take passengers on this one. To make it fair on all we need proper sailors, people who want to be involved, get stuck in and be key members of the TEAM.

What's included?

All race entry and mooring fees, 3 qualifying races and 1 training weekend and of course the Sevenstars RBI Race.

Professional racing skipper and first mate, accommodation on board, high-quality food aboard yacht whilst racing and training, full shore-support plus team custom shirt and crew Gilet to keep.

How to book?

You can book now with a small deposit by posted cheque or bank transfer BACs. That will secure your place.

Then pay in instalments.

Extra Training/Taster

You can get a taste by joining us for some of this years events in 2019 & 2020. Join us for a RORC or JOG race and decide if its really something you want to do.

Yes we are significantly cheaper than our competitors operating identical or similar yachts. Why? We are a smaller business with less overheads. The yacht your racing on will be just as well equipped and looked after. Possibly to a higher standard as we treat her as our baby. We still race her hard but she gets loads of TLC between events.

Price: £3,100

Should you require RYA & ISAF sea survival  training we can arrange this for you. Cost will be an additional £220.

Date August 2021

Cost £3,100 per person

Actual course is subject to conditions and can vary accordingly and at short notice by the RORC race officials.
