VOLVO Round Ireland Race

THE 2017 TEAM

The Round Ireland Race is a must do event and surprisingly its only 704 nautical miles all the way round this emerald isle and an ever changing yet stunning coastline.

It all kicks off however in the Solent as we participate in 2 RORC qualifying races and a training weekend before we all rock up in Wicklow near Dublin for the start of this amazing race.

For 2018 we will be racing on our Beneteau 40.7 Fireball, probably the best one around optimised for racing with North 3Di Sails & Asymmetric & Symmetric kites. Shes a comfortable and competitive racing yacht, the perfect weapon for this event!

Not only do you see the stunning Irish coast you can expect to see Scotland and the Mull of Kintyre only 11Nm off the Irish coast (keep your head down so Paul Mcartney doesn't see you)  & even possibly the Isle of Man. The Round Ireland Race is known for the diversity of wind conditions , ranging from long fast open reaches to surfing the Atlantic swell down the West Coast!

You are never too far from shore with fantastic scenery and wildlife. You will see Dolphins, maybe the odd whale during this 5/6 day race.

The Fastnet may have the kudos but this is one of the most stunning races courses in the world, it is one of the true offshore classic.

TEAM Anarchy, as it says we are a team.

If you want to feel like an outsider and receive special attention we are not for you.

If you want to be apart of something amazing both on land & sea then give us a call. Chris 07870 403888
