ARC 2019 – The Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC).
Established in 1986, it is now a ‘must-do’ race for sailors.
The ARC attracts over 200 boats each year providing safety in numbers and hordes to party with at the start & finish
A typical passage time is 12-16 days depending on conditions. Training will be provided so no experience is necessary.
2,700 Nm of epic adventure.
We are going to limit crew to a maximum of 8 although races such as the Fastnet etc we normally go with 10.
Why?
Well firstly it will make the passage more comfortable, it keeps the weight down which will make us faster and besides that we need to carry a lot of food and water etc.
We anticipate a mix of abilities from novices to experienced sailors.

The Crew/Team
Unlike other companies we should be in a position to offer accommodation on arrival in St Lucia.
Obviously you would be welcome to stay on the yacht whilst you await connection for your flight home. However, how does a comfortable bed in an air conditioned apartment sound?
Yeah we thought so too.
The apartments are in Rodney Bay only a 100 yards walk from Reduit Beach & Maries famous Rum Shack.
Each apartment has two rooms, a balcony, lounge, kitchen and bathroom. We will all be sharing and have been given the luxury of a flexible 3 night stay commencing on our arrival.
You will be able to purchase additional nights if required however costs p/p will vary subject to occupancy occupation. From £50 per night.
Exact details on this offer to be confirmed and are included as free bonus and not part of the ARC race package

Not just a charter boat but our baby. She's truly loved and cared for. Constantly upgrading her to make her fast whilst staying safe.
She will have a full out of the water inspection prior to departing for the Canaries and your adventure of a lifetime.
Amongst her Sail wardrobe will be her North 3Di main and headsail's, two kites and her cruising sails which are perfect for long down wind runs pressed against the spreaders.
Fully MCA coded we will also carry additional requirements required by the ARC race organisers which will include:
Satellite coms (You can buy air time if you wish to keep a blog etc)
Personal AIS-enabled MOB alarms
Its our responsibility to keep you safe and make sure you have a trip to remember, what you do to your liver at the post a pre race parties are your responsibility.
